課程概述 |
This is a research-oriented wireless multimedia networking course. This is an advanced course. Students should have prior knowledge in wireless and mobile networking. In this course, there will be extensive in-class discussions and few lectures. Research papers of next-generation wireless networks and wireless multimedia will be covered. Students are expected to spend significant time in reading papers before attending the class. There will be weekly homework assignments (e.g. reading paper and writing review comments). |

(1) Learn wireless networking design for multimedia applications.
(2) Learn how to do research through paper reading, brain storming, and literature survey. |

課程要求 |
*Exam 40%
* Paper Reading and Review Homework 30% (there will be weekly homework assignments).
* Group Homework (e.g. Wireless Network Experiments) 15%
* Class participation and presentation 5% (there will be a lot of in-class discussion and presentation)
* Individual Final Project (Literature Survey) 10%
